Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using KidsCompass.
Effective date: Date of Sign-up · Applies to: Parents & Guardians
Introduction
These Parent Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") outline the expectations, responsibilities, and policies governing the relationship between Kids Compass ("the Platform") and the Parent/Guardian ("Parent").
By creating an account, enrolling a child in an activity, or selecting "Accept" within the App, the Parent confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not proceed with registration or program enrollment.
1. Enrollment
Enrollment in activities through the Platform is confirmed only after:
• Submission of a completed registration form within the App
• Acceptance of this Parent Terms & Conditions Agreement
• Payment of all required registration or enrollment fees (if applicable)
The Platform reserves the right to deny or cancel enrollment if required documentation or payments are not received.
To create an account on Kids Compass, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Thai law. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
2. Marketplace Platform
Kids Compass operates as a technology platform and marketplace that connects parents with independent third-party providers offering children's classes, activities, camps, and lessons ("Providers").
The Platform:
• Does not operate or control the classes or activities offered by Providers
• Does not supervise or manage instructors or facilities
• Does not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any class or activity
All classes, lessons, and activities are organized and delivered by independent Providers.
By enrolling in an activity through the Platform, Parents acknowledge that participation occurs directly with the Provider, and any participation is undertaken at the Parent's discretion.
3.1 Program Fees
Parents agree to pay all tuition, program, or booking fees associated with activities their child enrolls in through the Platform.
All prices displayed on Kids Compass include 7% Value Added Tax (VAT) as required by Thai law. The price shown is the total amount payable. A VAT tax invoice is available upon request through the app.
3.2 Payment Deadlines
Payments must be made by the specified due dates. Late or failed payments may result in:
• Cancellation of a booking
• Suspension of participation
• Temporary restriction of account access
3.3 Non-Refundable Fees
Registration or administrative fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the Provider or within the App.
3.4 Returned or Failed Payments
Any returned or failed payment may incur an additional processing fee.
Any returned or failed payment may result in the cancellation of the associated booking and a temporary restriction of account access until resolved.
3.5 Cancellation Policy
Kids Compass operates the following platform-wide cancellation policy.
Parent-Initiated Cancellations: Parents may cancel a booking without charge if the cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled class start time. A full refund will be issued, less any payment gateway processing fees incurred on the original transaction and the refund. These fees are charged by the third-party payment processor and are not retained by Kids Compass. The net refund amount will be shown clearly before you confirm the cancellation.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time are not eligible for a refund. Credits or payments used for that booking will be forfeited. Parents whose child is unwell are encouraged to contact the Provider directly, as some Providers may offer goodwill exceptions at their discretion.
Provider-Initiated Cancellations: If a Provider cancels a confirmed booking, the Parent will always receive a full refund, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
If the Provider cancels with more than 48 hours' notice, all payment gateway fees are borne by the Provider and deducted from their settlement. If the Provider cancels with less than 48 hours' notice, all gateway fees are borne by the Provider and a service disruption fee of 15% of the booking value is also charged to the Provider. Kids Compass monitors Provider cancellation rates, and repeated short-notice cancellations may result in reduced platform visibility or suspension.
3.6 Credits and Memberships
Kids Compass may offer credit-based plans, monthly memberships, class bundles, and promotional passes ("Credits"). The following terms apply to all Credits:
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts and have no cash value.
• Credits expire as specified at the time of purchase or on the plan details page in the app.
• Unused Credits are non-refundable unless Kids Compass cancels the plan or is required to refund by Thai law.
• Kids Compass reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any credit plan with reasonable notice.
• Promotional Credits issued free of charge may carry additional conditions and expiry terms.
4. Attendance & Participation
Parents agree to ensure that their child:
• Attends activities on time and prepared
• Participates respectfully in all activities
• Follows the instructions of the Provider and instructors
Absences should be communicated directly to the Provider where possible.
The Platform is not responsible for providing make-up sessions unless specifically stated by the Provider.
5. Code of Conduct
Children enrolled in activities are expected to behave respectfully toward:
• Instructors and staff
• Other participants
• Facilities and equipment
Unacceptable behavior may include:
• Disruptive conduct
• Bullying or harassment
• Physical aggression
• Damage to property
Providers reserve the right to suspend or remove a participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
6. Health & Safety
Parents agree to:
• Provide accurate medical and emergency contact information
• Inform the Provider of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs
• Ensure that their child does not attend activities while ill or contagious
In the event of a medical emergency, the Provider may seek appropriate medical assistance if a parent cannot be reached immediately.
7. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Participation in educational, recreational, or athletic activities involves inherent risks.
By enrolling their child in activities through the Platform, Parents acknowledge and agree that:
• Participation is voluntary
• They assume responsibility for risks associated with the activities
• The Platform is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during activities conducted by independent Providers, except where required by law
Parents also accept responsibility for any damage caused by their child to property or equipment used during an activity.
8. Provider Policies
Each Provider may have their own policies relating to:
• Safety procedures
• Supervision standards
• Cancellation policies
• Refund policies
• Participation requirements
By enrolling in a class through the Platform, Parents agree to comply with the applicable Provider policies. Where a Provider's individual policy conflicts with the Kids Compass platform-wide cancellation policy set out in Section 3.5, the platform-wide policy governs.
9. Photography & Media
Providers or the Platform may take photographs or videos during activities for purposes such as:
• Educational documentation
• Program promotion
• Website, app, or social media content
No personal identifying information will be shared without consent.
Parents may opt out of media use by contacting the Provider or the Platform.

• Collect only necessary personal information
• Use information solely for platform administration and communication
• Protect personal data in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and all other applicable privacy laws, as detailed in the Platform's Privacy Policy
11. Communication Through the App
The Platform may enable communication between Parents and Providers for purposes such as:
• Class inquiries

• Activity updates
Parents agree to use all communication channels respectfully and appropriately.
The Platform reserves the right to monitor or restrict communications where necessary to maintain platform safety.
12. Program or Platform Changes
The Platform reserves the right to:
• Modify platform features or services
• Adjust policies
• Update information regarding activities
Where possible, Parents will be notified of significant changes through the App or registered contact details.
13. Termination of Access
Access to the Platform or participation in activities may be suspended or terminated if:
• Fees remain unpaid
• These Terms are violated
• Conduct poses a safety concern for others
Parents may also withdraw their child from activities through the App, subject to the applicable cancellation policies.
14. Platform Availability
While the Platform strives to provide reliable access, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to:
• System maintenance
• Technical issues
• Updates or improvements
The Platform is not responsible for losses resulting from temporary service interruptions.
15. Disputes
If you have a complaint or dispute relating to a booking, payment, or the conduct of a Provider, please contact Kids Compass support in the first instance. Kids Compass will endeavour to resolve the matter within 15 business days.
For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to first attempt mediation in Bangkok, Thailand, before commencing formal legal proceedings. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the use of the Platform, or participation in activities booked through the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
17. Digital Acceptance
By selecting "Accept", "Agree", or continuing with registration in the App, the Parent confirms that they:
• Have read and understood this Agreement
• Agree to abide by these Terms
• Accept responsibility for their child's participation in activities booked through the Platform
