1. What is Kids Compass?

Kids Compass is a digital marketplace that helps parents discover, book, and manage children’s classes and activities across Thailand. All classes are offered and delivered by independent third‑party schools, centres, and instructors (“Providers”).

Kids Compass is not a school or childcare provider.

2. What age groups does Kids Compass support?

Kids Compass focuses primarily on children aged 0–12. Each class listing clearly shows the recommended age range.

3. How do I book a class?

  1. Download the Kids Compass app

  2. Create an account

  3. Add your child’s profile

  4. Browse available classes

  5. Book using credits or a payment method

You will receive instant confirmation in the app.

4. Do I need to create a child profile?

Yes. Providers require basic information to ensure safety and age‑appropriate placement, such as:

  • Child’s name

  • Age

  • Allergies or special notes

5. What types of activities are available?

Kids Compass offers a wide range of activities, including:

  • Art & craft

  • Music & dance

  • Sports & movement

  • STEM & robotics

  • Messy play & sensory activities

  • Language classes

  • Camps and after‑school programs

Availability varies by location and Provider.

6. What are credits?

Credits are used to book classes depending on your plan. Credits:

  • Are non‑transferable

  • Have no cash value

  • May expire monthly depending on your plan

7. Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. Cancellation policies vary by Provider and are clearly shown in each class listing. You must cancel through the Kids Compass app.

Late cancellations or no‑shows may result in forfeited credits or fees.

8. What happens if a Provider cancels a class?

If a Provider cancels:

  • You will be notified immediately

  • Credits or payments will be refunded automatically

9. What if my child is sick?

Please cancel as early as possible. Some Providers may allow exceptions for illness on a case‑by‑case basis.

10. Can I communicate with Providers?

Yes, for class‑related matters such as:

  • Attendance

  • Requirements

  • Safety updates

For account or billing issues, contact Kids Compass support.

11. Does Kids Compass supervise children?

No. Supervision is provided solely by the Provider. Kids Compass is a marketplace, not a childcare provider or school.

12. Is my child’s data safe?

Yes. Kids Compass complies with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Parents can:

  • Edit or delete child profiles

  • Request account deletion

  • Withdraw consent where applicable

Child data is shared with Providers only for class participation.

13. Can I get a refund?

Refunds depend on:

  • Provider cancellations

  • Platform errors

  • The refund rules shown at checkout

Unused credits are generally non‑refundable except where required by Thai law.

14. What payment methods are accepted?

Kids Compass supports:

  • Credit and debit cards

  • Local Thai payment gateways

  • Credits, vouchers, and promotions (when available)

Yes. Kids Compass may offer:

18. Who can become a Provider?

Any school, centre, academy, tutor, or instructor legally operating in Thailand and offering activities for children aged 0–12.

19. How do I join as a Provider?

You can join by:

  1. Completing the Provider registration form

  2. Submitting business and contact details

  3. Uploading class schedules, pricing, and profiles

  4. Accepting the Provider Terms of Use

  5. Verifying your bank account for payouts

20. What types of classes can I list?

Providers may list:

  • Creative, music, and dance classes

  • Sports and movement

  • STEM, science, and coding

  • Language and literacy

  • Montessori or play‑based programs

  • Camps, workshops, and trials

21. Can I list recurring and one‑off classes?

Yes. You can list:

  • Drop‑in sessions

  • Weekly recurring classes

  • Term‑based programs

  • Camps and seasonal events

  • Free trials

22. How do parents book my classes?

Parents book directly through the Kids Compass app using credits or payment methods.

23. How do I manage attendance?

You must mark attendance via the Provider App for each class. Attendance confirmation is required for accurate payouts and reporting.

24. How does pricing and commission work?

Kids Compass deducts a service fee or commission from each booking. This covers:

  • Platform access

  • Payment processing

  • Marketing and promotion

  • Customer support

Your commission rate is confirmed during onboarding.

25. When do Providers get paid?

Payouts are processed monthly (unless otherwise agreed). You will receive a payout report detailing bookings, fees, and any adjustments.

A valid Thai bank account is required.

26. Can I cancel a class after parents have booked?

Yes, but cancellations should be avoided. If you must cancel:

  • Notify Kids Compass immediately

  • Parents will be informed

  • Refunds or credits will be processed automatically

Repeated cancellations may affect visibility or lead to suspension.

27. Can I accept bookings outside of Kids Compass?

You may accept external bookings, but Kids Compass users must book through the app. Circumventing the platform may result in suspension.

28. Can I contact parents directly?

You may contact parents only for:

  • Safety matters

  • Attendance

  • Class‑related updates

Direct marketing to Kids Compass users is not permitted without explicit consent.

29. What safety measures am I responsible for?

Providers must ensure:

  • Safe and clean facilities

  • Qualified instructors

  • Proper supervision ratios

  • Emergency procedures

  • Compliance with Thai laws

Kids Compass may request proof of compliance.

30. Are Providers responsible for PDPA compliance?

Yes. Providers must comply with Thailand’s PDPA, including:

  • Using data only for class delivery

  • Securing personal data

  • Not selling or sharing data

A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available on request.

31. How can I improve my visibility on Kids Compass?

  • Maintain strong ratings

  • Upload high‑quality photos

  • Keep schedules up to date
